Get to Know Jesse!
Jesse Stechly, a South Western PA local, is the proud Owner/Founder of Tech Neighbor. Growing up, Jesse’s interests included baseball, music, and of course technology. He was often found playing baseball for the Washington County baseball league where he was a catcher, first baseman, and third baseman. He attended K-8th grade at John F. Kennedy (JFK) School in Washington. While there, he assisted teachers in the school with their internet and computer needs. Additionally, Jesse also performed with the school’s concert band as one of the lead percussionists.
After his grade school years were over, he enrolled at Bishop Canevin High School in Pittsburgh. This is where he explored other interests, including basketball, volleyball, swimming, and baseball. He continued with his music passion and was involved in the high school concert and marching band there. He was awarded Drumline Captain of the marching band his junior and senior year. Originally, Jesse was seeking to further his education in Music Education, but decided to go into an IT field instead. He then joined the Bishop Canevin Digital Club his senior year as a result.
After High School graduation, he attended Robert Morris University, an acclaimed college in Moon, PA. Jesse decided to go into the growing field of Cyber Security. While a full time student, he worked as a full-time employee at a Cricket Wireless store before getting hired at a Verizon Wireless store. He worked as a Tech and Sales Consultant at both positions. Since then, he has held an IT Supprt Technician position at the GNC Headquarters in Pittsburgh.
Now, with privacy and security at mind, he is here working for the people of Pittsburgh as their local Tech Neighbor.
