There is no more, “We are still waiting to hear back from corporate” or “That’s not our job, so we are going to have you call someone else.” It is official. With Tech Neighbor, those days are over. We are based in Pittsburgh, serving the Pittsburgh community!

Tech Neighbor is here to offer an affordable and professional service but still keep interactions as friendly and informative as possible. We live in the City of Champions (and the Pirates), so we are going to treat the community as champions. Our goal is to be your friendly neighborhood support!

There is no reason to spend a couple hundred dollars to get someone who has inadequate knowledge or below average people skills to help you figure something out that they don’t even understand. Compared to other tech support companies, Tech Neighbor has them beat. Forget about the subscription services. You pay only for what you NEED.

Your local Tech Neighbor is also COMMISSION-FREE. This means only one thing: we work for you, not just our pockets! There is no up-selling,  no add-on of unnecessary services, and no hidden fees. Tech Neighbor is a Pittsburgh start-up that provides technology services, education, and support to everyone of all ages.

Services are offered to many areas of the Greater Pittsburgh area. In order to determine whether Tech Neighbor operates in your area, request a service and enter in the necessary information. You will either receive approval or you will be requested to update or provide additional information. We can make it work!

Availability is sometimes limited. To find the most up-to-date times, start a schedule of service and select the available time slots that work best for you!

Option #1: On every page of the website, there is a button towards the right hand side of the webpage that says, “Schedule Service.” From there, select one or more services, select a date and time, and then provide the requested information.

Option #2: Find us on social media such as Facebook or Instagram, and use the link offered to schedule services.

Option #3: Call Us!

When scheduling an appointment, there will be an option to add additional Appointment Notes. In the best detail possible, describe your issues and/or anything else that you believe could potentially help during the appointment. If you are unable to provide details, no worries! We can always help you figure it out during the appointment.

You may schedule an appointment the earliest of 3 days from the time you schedule to as late as 3 weeks. If you need to schedule an earlier or later time slot, please email support@tech-neighbor.com for the special request.

At the end of the service, you may use either cash or card. (If using cash, please use the exact amount. For safety reasons, your Tech Neighbor will not be carrying extra cash).

New Device Set-Up

If you recently got a new device that you need help setting up, this service is what you are looking for. New Device Set-Up covers all of the following: Account sign-in (Google, iCloud, Facebook, etc.), Device back-up, Contact and Picture Transfer, and App Downloads. Additionally, Device Learning is included with this service!
